Lyndale Cancer Support will be reopening on Monday 21st March, Wednesday 23rd March and Thursday 24th March from 11-00am until 1-pm to begin with. This is because many volunteers have retired or resigned during the pandemic and a few have health problems which stops them joining us at the moment.

As we are restricted to the number of people we can allow in the building it is important that you call the Centre to book a place on Tel:0151 489 3538 or email us on

On arrival at Lyndale’s front door a volunteer will take your temperature and you will be asked to sanities your hands. There are sanitising bottles around the building and social distancing must also be observed. Mask wearing is optional and we will have some windows open to circulate the air as well as air purifiers that are placed in different parts of the building.

We will provide tea, coffee and wrapped cakes or biscuits to begin with and this will be reviewed regularly. until we can resume our normal hours, activities and therapies.

We apologise for this reduced service but your safety and that of our volunteers is paramount.

We look forward to seeing you all again, take care and stay safe.
